Anemotracker App: Full User Guide and Documentation

The Anemotracker App seamlessly integrates with our advanced wind meters, delivering accurate, real-time data whenever you need it.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the setup process, highlight key features, and share best practices to help you get the most out of your experience.


Getting Started

1. Install the App

Download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. Enable Bluetooth and Location

Ensure Bluetooth and Location services are turned on.

3. Launch the App

Open the app on your device.

4. Pair Your Device

Open the side menu (“Drawer Panel”) and tap Pair Portable/NCP.

5. Select Your Device

  • A list of nearby compatible devices will appear.

  • The number on the right indicates signal strength: -20 is very strong, -90 is very weak.

  • Devices are listed from strongest to weakest signal.

  • If you’re unsure which device is yours, bring it closer to your phone; it should appear at the top.

  • You can also filter devices by MAC address or name.

6. Rename Your Device

  • To make identification easier, assign a nickname.

  • Tap the device name in the connected devices list (in the side menu).

  • The next time you search, filter by this name.

  • Note: nicknames are unique to each smartphone or tablet.

7. Take Measurements

Place a wind source over the anemometer and observe the live readings displayed in the app.
